 This is the very last newsletter I will write from Lavendar Mist. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2009 and I hope you will continue to post at Poetic Skies. I would like to whole heartedly thank everyone who as ever passed through my lavender doors, very sad times indeed. The final spotlight poet is our youngest member Finley, I hope you stop by and read his lovely bio. Winner of October Challenge is JP, the winner of Picture Challenge is David Hardy Jnr. I have added new challenges for anyone still using the site. Once again, thank you to all who have helped behind the scenes and the biggest thank you to my son for making this all possible. God Bless

I know alot of you have told me how upset and saddened you are that very shortly the Mist as we know it will close its door forever. We have all basked in the lavendar haze and spent many hours here, but things change, and this is one of those things that I am sorry to say has to change. If, in the meantime I win the lottery and can employ staff then it will not close, but that is the fantasy not the reality. November Spotlight Poet is Val, please take a moment to pass by her page and read her bio. Site Picture Challenge was joint winners of Anthony and Leni. Members Picture Challenge was won by Jayne. The dark nights of October are already here as the weather turns colder, I feel we all write more. Spotlight Poet for October is Ieuan Cilgwri, please take a few moments to stop by his page and read his spotlight bio. Site Picture Challenge was won by Norma Southwood. Member Picture Challenge was won by Margaret Latter. September Writing Challenge was won by Cora Barras. All new challenges are now ready. Write a Love Sonnet for October. Also try and write in the style of Ted Hughes. Only two more weeks left on the writing course, I hope you have all enjoyed the lessons, only one person can become outright winner and take the diploma. Don't forget to submit your pictures for all to take part in members picture challenge.
